Like all our treatments, the success of micropigmentation lies in its aftercare. To ensure you achieve the most desirable results, here's what you need to remember:

Initial Days:

• Keep your scalp dry for the first four days.
• A bit of redness or itchiness is common but should subside within a few days.
• Opt for a soft, loose hat if you wish to cover up. Ensure it’s comfortable to avoid skin irritation.

Sweating:

• Limit activities that cause excessive sweating like saunas or steam rooms for the first four days.
• You can hit the gym, but avoid heavy cardio sessions that lead to excessive sweating. If you do sweat, simply blot it away with a paper towel.

Showering:

• It's okay to take quick showers, but use lukewarm water to prevent scalp sweating.
• Choose sulfate-free shampoos.

Physical Activities:

• You can engage in minimal exercises like light weight lifting.
• Wait until day five post-treatment to cut your hair, either with clippers or a shaver. Always be gentle.

Protection & Moisturizing:

• If you're stepping out on a hot summer day, always apply a non-greasy sunscreen or wear a light-colored hat to guard against UV rays.
• Many people find using a moisturizing cream on their scalp adds to their comfort.

Careful Product Selection:

• Avoid using products with AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) as they can affect the pigments.
• Opt for products with lower alcohol content. While minimal alcohol might not cause significant damage, it's always better to be gentle on your scalp.

Complete Healing:

• By day 10, your scalp should be mostly healed.
• After a month, feel free to resume your usual activities, whether it’s swimming or sunbathing. But if you have more micropigmentation sessions lined up, hold off.
